This trek is designed for those, who wish to visit the Khumbu region, but who have restricted time. We visit villages and monasteries, allowing us to enjoy the culture and hospitality of the Sherpa people. The highest point of our trek is Tengboche Monastery, here we can enjoy spectacular mountain views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam and more.

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu Airport, transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2840m). We then trek from Lukla to Phakding (2610m) (3-hours).
Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazaar(3440m) (5-hours). Enjoyable walk through small villages, with a steep climb into Namche.
Day 04: Acclimatisation day in Namche. Acclimatisation is vital to help prevent problems of altitude, there for we walk to Syangboche, the rest of your time is free to explore Namche.
Day 05: Namche to Thame (5-hours). This is the birth place of Tenzing Norgay.
Day 06: Thame to Khumjung (3780m) (6-hours). Khumjung Monastery reportedly has the scalp of a yeti.
Day 07: Khumjung to Tengboche (3860m) (4-hours). Visit the monastery and enjoy the mountain views, which include Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam and more.
Day 08: Tengboche to Namche Bazaar (3440m) (4-hours)
Day 09: Namche Bazaar to Lukla (7-hours).
Day 10: Return flight to Kathmandu.
Day 11: International flight home.

The price covers the following services:

  1. Hotel accommodation in Kathmandu on a bed and breakfast basis.
  2. Three meals a day (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) with hot beverage and snacks whilst on trek.
  3. Tea house accommodation whilst on trek.
  4. Sagarmatha National Park permit, Climbing permits.
  5. Domestic airfare (Kathmandu – Lukla – Kathmandu)
  6. An experienced English speaking trekking guide, or where possible language of your choice trained and licenced by the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Tourism & Civil Aviation.
  7. Highly experienced well equipped trekking porter.
  8. Staff food, accommodation, clothing, salary & insurance.
  9. Airport transfers.
  10. Farewell dinner in Kathmandu.

The price does not cover the following services

  1. Meals in Kathmandu. Extra hotel nights.
  2. Expenses of a personal nature, internet access, charging batteries, showers etc.
  3. Bar and beverage bills.
  4. Your Travel Insurance,  must include helicopter rescue and cover for any other adventurous activities that you may take part in.
  5. Rescue & Evacuation.
  6. Gratuity (tip) for staff.
  7. Nepal entry visa

This is a fairly strenuous trek. To enjoy the trek fully you should be have a good level of fitness.
We have one acclimatisation day.
