baruntse-7129m-19

Baruntse (7129m) is located in a more remote area of the Khumbu region. It was first climbed by Colin Todd and Geoff Harrow of a New Zealand expedition, in May 1954. There are sections of 50 degree elevation, with a prominent ice cliff. The view from the summit of Baruntse is magnificent, with panoramic views of Lhotse, Mount Everest, Cho Oyu, Kanchenjunga, Makalu and the Khumbu Himal. Our experienced Sherpa Climbing guides and base camp staff, will strive to make this adventure as safe and enjoyable as possible.
